You will meet and battle Krauser for the first time on Chapter 11, and encounter him again on Chapter 13. Overall, his melee attacks are the most dangerous, paired with his fast speed. You can win against him if you master parrying attacks with your Knife!

You can only use knife against Krauser on this fight. Try to get close so you can hit him, but make sure to dodge or parry when needed to avoid getting damaged.
After hitting Krauser for several times, he will stagger and give you chance to go for a melee kick. You will know if he's staggering once he starts kneeling and putting his hand to his face.
You will know what to do in the fight if you follow the button prompts that will appear on the screen. It will either hint you to dodge or parry so try to follow them to end the boss fight efficiently.

Krauser will shoot you with a gun or use knife to attack you in this encounter. You will need to switch between using a gun or a knife quickly to fight him on equal grounds.
Same as the first encounter, follow the hints that will appear on the screen to avoid getting damaged by Krauser. It usually shows once his near and about to attack.
You can use the explosive from the Tripwires to damage Krauser whose popping in and out of combat. Shoot it once he's near to make it explode!
However, take note that he can also manually activate a Tripwire, so try not to get too close to them!
How to Disarm Tripwires
There are also sevaral gun cameras in the area which automatically follows your movement once in range. Shoot them with a single shot from a Handgun to conserve ammo.
Once Krauser starts shooting with his weapon, hide behind covers to avoid getting damaged. Do this specifically in the area where he's using a Bow with Explosive Arrows, as it will deal more damage than regular bullets.

Knife slashes are Krauser's most basic attack. He can perform various melee attacks using a Knife, which you can dodge or parry.
Krauser will sometimes throw Boot Knives at you when you gain distance from him. These knives can be looted on the first encounter, but not on the second one.
Krauser will sometimes atttack you with a low kick or a front kick. You can avoid this by pressing the dodge button that'll on the screen.
Krauser can suddenly appear right behind and attack you. You can follow the button that'll appear on the screen to evade it. You can also listen closely to the audio to know if he's nearby!
When Krauser is leaving the battle to hide, he'll use a Flash Grenade to blind you and then exit. It doesn't deal any damage against you, but he'll usually be behind your back when it happens!
Krauser only does this move on the second encounter.
Krauser has two guns at his disposal. One is an SMG and the other one is a Bow with Explosive Arrows. You can easily prevent yourself from getting hit by those weapons if you hide behind covers.
On the second fight against Krauser, he will be laying down three types of traps which are Bear Traps, Tripwires, and Gun Cameras. You can use the Tripwires against Krauser, while you can deactivate the Bear Traps and Gun Cameras by shooting them.
