Look for the Climb Prompt

Resident Evil 4 Remake - Climbing
Any ledge or wall that can be climbed will have a prompt for climbing when players get near enough. Press the button to start climbing ledges.

Climbing Can Only be Done With a Partner

Players can only climb walls and ledges with the help of a partner. The first time you pass through the village, Leon will be alone and cannot access the ledge. Players will have to circle back to the same area with either Ashley after gaining her as a companion in Chapter 5 (according to the new naming scheme for Story Chapters), or possibly even Luis.
