The current leader of Los Illuminados, a powerful religious cult that has long existed in the region.
The voice actor for Osmund Saddler in this remake is Christopher Jane. He has a similar voice to Michael Gough, Saddler's voice actor in the original RE4.

Osmund Saddler is the leader of the religious cult named Los Iluminados. He controls all the people living in the village using the Plaga. He attempts to do the same to Ashley and Leon.
Saddler's character model and design have completely changed in the remake. He's now wearing a long robe with a dark blue shade, as opposed to his purple robe in the original. His staff is also different now, with more detail and a green gem on top instead of a red one.
