The Merchant is a mysterious masked man who sells and buys items for pesetas. No one knows why he helps Leon or why he has no interest in helping the Los Iluminados despite being a Ganado.

Albert Wesker

In the post-credits scene, Albert Wesker is revealed to be the puppetmaster behind the scenes, having hired Krauser and Ada Wong.

Wesker was a playable character in the original RE4 Mercenaries Mode and might come back to the same game mode in a future update.

Hunk is known for his emotionless and ruthless characteristics in the Resident Evil Universe. Hunk only appears in the Remake via Mercenaries Mode, just like in the original.

Jill Valentine

Jill is the Resident Evil 3 protagonist and a member of S.T.A.R.S. who fought off the bio-weapon named Nemesis as it tried to hunt her down.

She will most likely not appear in the RE4 Remake as she is still missing during that time. She also wasn't in the original RE4, lowering the chances that she'll come out in the game even further.
