After beating the game for the first time on any difficulty, you unlock Professional Mode. Professional Mode is the hardest post-game difficulty setting, featuring limiting factors like no autosaves and only landing Perfect Parries.
How to Unlock Professional Mode
Completing your first playthrough of the Resident Evil 4 Remake also allows you to start New Game Plus using your current save file. When beginning a New Playthrough, you get to keep most of your weapons and upgrades, but you have to collect specific items like Files, Key Items, and Treasures from the start.
You also unlock specific costumes and accessories which you can buy at the Extra Content Shop after completing your playthrough. For example, you unlock Leon's Pinstripe Costume after beating the game for the first time on any difficulty.
List of Costumes, Outfits, and Accessories
After beating the game, you can also view the requirements of the game's different Completion Ranks in the Total Results screen. Having access to these playtime goals can give you a better idea of how to plan out your next playthrough.

The Resident Evil Remake features a total 40 trophies for players to collect, most of which can't be done on your first time beating the game. We estimate that you will need around 4-5 playthroughs to get all trophies, so aim to complete as many achievements as possible in your next playthrough!
Achievements List and Trophy Guide
The game also has plenty of collectibles like Clockwork Castellans and Blue Medallions that you can easily miss during your first playthrough. Feel free to take your time in future playthroughs to collect them all!
List of All Collectible Locations
There are a total of 110 Challenges for players to complete in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Check the Challenges menu for a list of goals you can look forward to taking on in future playthroughs!
All Challenges and How to Complete
You can also aim to grab S Ranks in all Shooting Range Game Types. These S Ranks can take a while to obtain due to the accuracy and precision needed to reach their score goals, so they provide plenty of replayability.

Try out a different game mode called the Mercenaries. Mercenaries Mode is a free DLC minigame where players can test themselves against hordes of enemies in different stages.
Work your way into attaining the S++ rank with different characters such as Leon, Luis, Krauser, and Hunk in this challenging content.
