The Cubic Device is found inside a chest located along a L-shaped hallway between the Armory and the Grandhall during Chapter 9.
How to Use Cubic Device
Fit the Cubic Device at Square Lock Boxes
Once you've obtained the Cubic Device, you can start opening Square Lock Boxes. You have to manually twist and turn the box so that it can fit the lock of every Square Lock Box.
Take your time and pay close attention to the Device's grooves and the shape of the locks, and you should be able to open every Square Lock Box with ease.
