El Gigante is one of the bosses you will fight in the Separate Ways DLC of the Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4). Learn how to beat El Gigante, find out its attack patterns and know how to counter them!

There will be some Ganados in the combat area but they will be limited to the ground. There will be some supplies on the ground like Green Herbs and Ammo, but for the most part, it is more strategic to stick to the high ground as it gives you a a better shot at aiming for El Gigante's weakspots and puts you out of harm's way of El Gigante's attacks.
Now would be the best moment to use the Blast Crossbow as it delivers damage equivalent to that of a small grenade but with better accuracy. If you have spare grenades, it is better to use it when El Gigante is closer to the rooftops.
Whenever El Gigante is staggered, a button prompt will appear on its head to signal a Grapple Melee opportunity. This opportunity deals far more damage to El Gigante because it directly targets its weakspot.
