Resident Evil 4 Remake - Trade With the Merchant

All items from the Merchant's shop that cannot be purchased for Pesetas can instead be traded for using Spinels. These Special items can range from weapons, attachments, and other useful in-game materials such as treasure maps and puzzle pieces.

How to Access Trading Menu

The trading menu is accessed by interacting with the Merchant.

1 Open the shop menu by speaking with the Merchant.
2 Go to the Trade tab.
3 Select a Special Item to exchange for using spinels.

What Are Special Items?

Rare Unique Items

Resident Evil 4 Remake - Trading Unique Items

Trading provides unique items that are not ordinarily bought from the Merchant's regular shop menu.

These special items are composed of weapons with unique names, rare herbs that are difficult to find (mainly yellow herbs), treasure maps that lead to hidden treasure, and inset items used to insert into puzzles.
