The Silent Stranger Trophy is an achievement in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4 Remake) acquired for completing the game without talking to the Merchant once. Read on to learn more tips on how to get this achievement!

How to Get the Silent Stranger Trophy

Have Weapons Upgraded Beforehand

The goal is simple enough, however, you will find that this is difficult to achieve on your first playthrough. Even more so if your initial playthrough is on a higher difficulty because you will be in need of better weapons and upgrades. It is recommended that you upgrade most of your weapons before trying a Silent Stranger run.

Best Weapons to Upgrade: What to Upgrade First

Recommended on Assisted New Game+

On New Game Plus, you will have access to all weapons and upgrades you acquired in your previous run giving you less incentive to talk to the merchant. It also helps to do this run on Assisted difficulty as the enemies will not be as tough, and the drop rate for resources is significantly higher.
