Saddler is Defeated

Leon and Ada defeat Saddler in the final battle of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Salazar never makes a return to the series in any form, so it's safe to say that he met his ultimate demise during the fight.

Ada Wong Takes the Amber

After the battle with Saddler, Ada Wong takes the Amber containing the Plaga sample from Leon. She offers him a ride on her helicopter which he refuses. Ada's plans with the sample are revealed in a post-credits scene.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Post-Credits Scene Explained

Ashley Goes on to Live a Normal Life

In the last scene of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Ashley offers Leon a spot on her security detail which Leon respectfully declines. We never see Ashley in the game series again. However, in the Netflix animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness which takes place two years after the events of Resident Evil 4, an easter egg shows a photo of Ashley. The easter egg implies that Ashley is safe and happy living her life.

Leon Continues to be a Government Agent

Leon declines Ashley's offer to work with her during the final scene of Resident Evil 4 Remake. He continued to work as a special agent for the United States government until 2011 when he was transferred to DSO, an anti-bioterrorism organization, as revealed in Resident Evil 6.

Credits Scene

During the credits, a series of photos show the history of the village and how it got to its state during Resident Evil 4 Remake. The photos start with the normal lives of the people, the arrival of the cult, the founding of the Plaga, and the start and aftermath of the infection.
