Aim for the Head
Chainsaw Man is weak against headshots. Shoot it there a few times to make it stagger and go for a melee attack to inflict more damage. The Chainsaw Man does not get knocked down by the melee attack though. It merely gets knocked a bit backwards.
Shoot the Knees
You can immobilize the Chainsaw Man by shooting its knees. You can then go for a melee attack once down, allowing you to deal more damage against it.
Avoid Parrying its Attacks
Parrying will remove all the durability of your knife . It's best to keep your distance from Chainsaw users instead. If you find yourself cornered, you can use any weapon in your inventory like the Flash Grenade to stagger Chainsaw users.
Although there may be times when you don't have a choice, only parry a Chainsaw users attack when absolutely necessary.
Don't Shoot the Chainsaw
Chainsaw Man's chainsaw can block off your bullets. Depending on its stance, it can barricade its body with the chainsaw. Look for any vulnerable spots, either the head or knees, and shoot them instead for a clean hit.
Lure Chainsaw Man into the Enemies
Chainsaw Man can hit their allies with his chainsaw and even kill them if their low on health. Use it to your advantage by luring the Chainsaw Man into the swarm of enemies, or vice versa.
Don't Come Near it When it's Dying
Chainsaw Man has death animation where he swings his chainsaw around. The chainsaw can still damage Leon, including other enemies in the game.
Stronger in Mad Chainsaw Mode (Demo)
Chainsaw Man's chainsaw is on fire in Mad Chainsaw Mode in the Demo, making it much stronger than in the Standard Difficulty. It can kill you in one attack, so keep your distance all the time to avoid getting sliced and dying instantly.
Also, if you're planning to fight it, don't conserve your resources, or you'll end up dying.
How to Unlock Mad Chainsaw Mode
Can You Kill the Chainsaw Man in the Demo?
Yes, It's Possible
It's possible to kill the Chainsaw Man in the demo. You can kill it using all the hand grenades obtainable, all shotgun ammo, several handgun shots, and friendly fire attacks from the Villagers. However, make sure to do it fast before the bell rings, or you won't be able to slay it.
