How to Skip the Sun and Moon Switches

Shoot the Unseen Weight Through the Gate

A section in Chapter 8 will require you to pull a series of switches marked with sun and moon icons to get to the next area. The gate blocking your path on the second floor is being held by a weighted object from the outside that you can't see. However, you can shoot in the general direction of the weight to hit it, opening the gate, and allowing you to skip the switches.

Once you find the gate, position yourself on the left side facing north towards the outer right side of the gate.
