Grab the Ada Wong Special Charm from the Merchant to remove shields from enemies in the Separate Ways DLC of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Read on to learn how to remove shields using your Grappling Melee Attack and more!

How To Remove Shields with Grappling Gun

Purchase the Special Ada Wong Charm

Grapple Melee Charm

When you get to Gregorio's Waterway, find the Merchant and buy this Special Charm for 5 Spinels. If you are short on Spinels, your best alternative is to complete the nearby Lord of the Waterway request to gain 8 Spinels.

Equip the Ada Wong Charm

Equip Ada Charm

After purchasing the charm, it will not automatically equip to your attache case. Go to a nearby Typewriter and select Customize Case to equip the charm.

Press Button when Prompted

After equipping the charm, should you face a shielded enemy, just press the designated button prompt to rip aways the shields with your grappling gun.
