The Lion Head Statue is located in the northwest room of the Grand Hall in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4), Read on to learn the exact location of the Lion Head inside the Castle during Chapter 9, how to use blue flame lanterns, and where to get the Cubic Device.

Lion Head Statue Location

Northwest of the Grand Hall

The Lion Head Statue is in the Armory (northwest room in the Grand Hall second floor). From here, you can drop down the ledge at the center to find the missing Lion Head. You should prepare for a fight upon reaching this area because once you pick up the Lion Head from the statue, you will be swarmed by a couple of enemies in the arena.

The enemies that you will encounter are called Armadulas. They are Plagas hiding inside an armor. If they take enough damage, they will burst out of the armor. Shoot the Plagas or throw a Flash Grenade to defeat them.

Ashley will also help out by throwing down lanterns that will set the floor ablaze with blue flames. These flames can immobilize the enemy, make sure to lure them into it so you can kill them safely.

Get the Cubic Device After the Fight

Call Ashley down to open the door together. You will see a treasure chest on your right, which contains the Cubic Device. Follow the corridor past the chest to go back to the lower floor of the Grand Hall to place the Lion Head on the Headless Statue.
