RE4 Mercenaries - Does Mercenaries Have Aim Assist
Unfortunately, Aim Assist is not available in Resident Evil 4 (RE4) Remake's Mercenaries mode and it cannot be turned on through the options menu. Read on to find out what you can do to aim better in Mercenaries mode!

Aim Assist is Disabled in Mercenaries

RE4 Mercenaries - Aim Assist

Aim assist is automatically disabled in Mercenaries mode and you cannot turn it on through the options menu.

One the bright side, you can use this to calibrate your aim and camera settings that suits you best for Mercenaries mode, Hardcore, and Professional story runs.

Adjust Camera Speed While Aiming

Camera Speed

To make up for the absence of aim assist, try adjusting your camera speed in the Camera Options to your preferred camera sensitivity. Slowing or ramping it up may help you aim and transfer shots between enemies.

Use Motion Sensor

Motion Sensor

If you have good eye-hand coordination you can try turning on Motion Sensor to freely control your aim using your controller movement.
