Craft Ammo From Your Inventory

Resident Evil 4 Remake - Craft Ammo From Your Inventory
If you run out of ammo during combat, remember that you can always open your inventory and craft the ammo types you need. Always keep a few stacks of Resources and Gunpowder on hand so you can craft ammo on the fly whenever you need to.

Crafting Guide: How to Craft Items

List of Charms and Charm Perks

Stay Alert for Drawers and Barrels

We also recommend always staying alert for lootable drawers and barrels while playing through the game. These interactable objects often contain ammo drops and other valuable items for you to pick up.

Attack, Execute, and Parry with the Knife

If you need to take down nearby enemies after running out of ammo, remember that you can always use your Knife to slash at foes, parry their attacks, and land stealth kills. However, don't forget to keep an eye on your knife's durability to ensure it doesn't break.

Best Knife

Use Flash and Hand Grenades

If you need to deal with groups of enemies surrounding you while out of ammo, don't forget to use your Flash and Hand Grenades. These throwable items are excellent for crowd control and taking out crowds of foes at once without spending any ammo.

Run Past Areas With Enemies

Since killing enemies is often not required to progress through most locations, running past areas with enemies to reach safety is another viable strategy when you run out of ammo.

Sprint away from chasing enemies and sneak past unaware foes to get away from danger without taking any damage or spending any ammo. Just don't forget to keep Ashley safe, too!
