Chapter Objectives

Take the Amber Back From Saddler

Route Map

After arriving at the Underground Passageway, head upstairs. You will find a door leading to the Merchant. Turn right and continue following the path until you reach an elevator that will take you out of the cave. In this area, there are multiple soldiers who will try to stop you. For now, it's advisable to use your Handgun and conserve your Shotgun and TMP ammo for later.

Head to the Sanctuary

Route Map

When you reach the Loading Docks, continue following the path and use the elevator to access the Sanctuary area. Here, you will encounter the Merchant for the final time in this playthrough. Purchase everything you need to prepare for the final boss fight.

Defeat Saddler

As soon as you reach the Sanctuary, a cutscene will trigger, and you will help Leon escape with Ashley. Saddler has a variety of powerful ranged attacks. When he shoots spikes, sidestep in the opposite direction until he stops firing.

Additionally, consider positioning yourself on the platform near the altar to avoid his vomit attack. Keep in mind that Saddler can also execute a tentacle attack from below; make sure to avoid this as soon as the button prompt appears.

How to Beat Saddler (Separate Ways)

Obtain a Powerful Weapon

After obtaining the Amber from Saddler, you will find yourself on the Guard Tower, where your objective is to search for a powerful weapon to assist Leon in defeating Saddler. Follow the path on the Guard Tower and eliminate any Soldiers you encounter along the way. Keep in mind that you have only 5 minutes to reach the Rocket Launcher and deliver it to Leon.

No Need to Conserve Your Ammo Shoot the Wall Mines

No Need to Conserve Your Ammo

Since this is the last chapter of the game, there is no need for you to conserve your ammo. Feel free to use your powerful weapons to eliminate soldiers, especially if you're running out of time during the last phase of the chapter.

Shoot the Wall Mines

Unlike the traps in the village, these trip mines cannot be disabled by getting close to them. You can easily trigger them by shooting, causing them to explode and clear the path for you. You can also use the explosion from these mines to defeat nearby enemy Soldiers.

Chapter 7 Completion Reward

Finishing Chapter 7 of the Separate Ways DLC completes the Her Separate Way and Had Enough of Preachers challenges, rewarding you with a total of 1,000 CP. You can spend this CP in the Extras Shop to unlock exclusive content.
