The voice actor for the Merchant in the Resident Evil 4 Remake is Michael Adamthwaite.
In the original game, the Merchant's voice actor was Paul Mercier, the same voice actor who voiced Leon in the original Resident Evil 4 game.

The Merchant is a typical game shop vendor who sells powerful weapons and upgrades and buys extra items and valuable treasures for pesetas.
Aside from that, he does not influence the story and nothing is known about his backstory.
What to Buy First
Not much is known about this mysterious villager. He is a Ganado, but for some reason has no interest in helping Los Iluminados.
No one knows what his name is, why he helps Leon, or how he acquires the weapons he sells.
The Merchant appears in different locations and points of the game. He sells different weapons, items, and upgrades with more getting unlocked as you progress through the game.
