Village Stage Objectives

1. Collect All Green Orbs Right From the Start

As the fight starts, we highly recommend collecting all Green Orbs while ignoring all enemies.

What this does is that it grants bonus time as you claim each orb and also funnels some enemies behind you, granting a multi-kill opportunity that can yield high points and combo count.

2. Utilize Explosive Barrels to Kill Groups

Utilizing explosive barrels is key to yielding high scores and combo count while only using a single bullet as it instantly kills enemies nearby.

These are scattered across the stage and is there for using, do not ignore them.

3. Time your pick up of the yellow orbs

We highly recommend not taking the Yellow Orb early, as that is much needed for enemies that show up after 90 or 130 kills.

Yellow Orbs grant you an instant Mayhem Ability charge, which is a need against stronger enemies that will enter the stage.

4. Do Not Use Mayhem Ability Against One Elite

We do not recommend using your Mayhem Ability against one Elite enemy. Mayhem Abilities are best used when multiple Elite enemies enter the stage or when more enemies join them.

Not only does this strategy yield more Points, Combo Count, and Bonus Rate but it also helps you clear enemies faster which can grant you a Time Bonus if you complete the stage.

The best time to use your Mayhem Abilities is when there are a lot of enemies in the area or when there is more than one Elite enemy.

In the village, once you kill 130 enemies the Chainsaw Man and the Chainsaw Sisters will spawn at the same time, deal with them and the other mobs quicky by using your Mayhem Ability.

5. Funnel Enemies But Do Not Camp

We recommend funneling enemies by running around and forcing them to group behind you. However, we do not recommend funneling enemies by camping in a single spot for a period of time.

Camping in a single spot rarely gives multi-kill opportunities, disabling you from stacking combo and points.

Melee Attack	Neckbreaker: Snaps a staggered enemy's head and kills them instantly.

Hunk is the best Mercenary to use in the Village stage as all enemies in the Village have no resistance like shields and helmets. He can also instantly kill any staggered enemy that is standing with his melee attack including elite enemies.

Krauser

Melee Attack	Thrust Attack: Attack enemies with a straight line thrust attack.

Krauser can also be considered as the best Mercenary for all stages as he excels both in melee and ranged combat, allowing you to create a versatile playstyle that suits your needs for high scores. Krauser's knife does not break easily and has its own unique moveset that is perfect for slashing down any nearby enemies.
