Resident Evil 4 Remake - All Decorated Keyhole Chests

In the Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4), you can find chests with decorated keyholes inside the Library while playing as Ashley in Chapter 9. Check out all decorated keyhole chest locations and how to unlock them!

Chest 1 - Library Lower Floor

You can find the first Chest with a Decorated Keyhole on the west side of the Library's lower floor right after picking up the Bunch of Keys. You will have to duck under some bookshelves to reach this chest.

To open this chest, use the second key from the left of the Bunch of Keys, and you'll be rewarded with an Elegant Perfume Bottle that sells for 10,000 Pesetas.

Chest 2 - Library Upper Floor

You can find the second Decorated Keyhole Chest after taking the elevator to the Library's upper floor. It's at the center of the bookshelves behind the Square Lock Box.

To open this chest, use the rightmost key of the Bunch of Keys, and you'll be rewarded with a Sapphire that you can combine with other treasures or sell directly for 4,000 Pesetas.

Chest 3 - Mausoleum

You can find the third Decorated Keyhole Chest after ringing every gong and getting past the hall of Armadura in the Mausoleum.

To open this chest, use the leftmost key of the Bunch of Keys, and you'll be rewarded with an Emerald that you can combine with other treasures or sell directly for 5,000 Pesetas.

Get the Bunch of Keys in the Library

Before you can open the Decorated Keyhole Chests, you'll need to get the Bunch of Keys. You're guaranteed to pick these keys up at the southern end of the Library while playing as Ashley in Chapter 9, as it's necessary to complete the chapter.

Chapter 9 Walkthrough

Bunch of Keys Doesn't Carry Over to Leon

After finishing Chapter 9 and reaching Chapter 10, Leon will not have the Bunch of Keys, which means you can't backtrack to open any missed Decorated Keyhole Chests.

Ensure that you've unlocked every Chest with a Decorated Keyhole with Ashley inside the Library before finishing Chapter 9 so you don't miss out on additional treasures.
