The Dungeon Key can be found near a corpse in the Castle Dungeons of Chapter 7 in Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4). Read on to learn how to get Dungeon Key, its effects, and how to use this item!

Progress through Chapter 7 of the main story up until you reach the Torture Chamber in the Dungeons located beneath the Castle.
Eventually you'll come across a trail of blood on the floor along with a strange metal clanging noise, follow it until you reach a corpse at the dead end.
Interact with the corpse to get the Dungeon Key, after walking back a bit, you'll fall through the wooden floor and discover the source of the clanging metal.

You'll discover that the clanging noise comes from a blind Garrador, you'll have to sneak your way to the gate locked behind the wheel at the other end of the area. Alternatively, you can take the Garrador down if you have enough firepower.
Take note that interacting with the wheel will make a loud noise and will prompt the Garrador to charge at you.
It's best to lure it back first to its cell, so you'll have a lot of time to turn the wheel around in order to open the gate.

After making your perilous escape from the Garrador, you'll find yourself back in the Torture Chamber with Ashley waiting for you.
Use the Dungeon Key at the locked door just north of the Torture Chamber in the Dungeons.
It's recommended that you sell the Dungeon Key for 1,200 Pesetas after escaping the dungeon as you won't be needing it later on to progress through the story.
