Resident Evil 4 Remake - What Does the Plus 1 Mean

What Does the Plus 1 Mean?

One Extra Bullet In Your Magazine

Reloading certain guns, including when they're fully loaded, can add a Plus 1 to their current ammo count. This new mechanic allows these weapons to have an extra shot in their magazine, but it also takes one additional bullet from your currently-held ammo.

This feature may have been added for immersion and realism, as the current ammo count shows how much ammo is in the magazine, while the Plus 1 indicates that there's still a bullet in the gun's chamber.
