How to Get to the Forest Altar

Get the Insignia Key in Chapter 2

Before you can access the Forest Altar, you'll first need the Insignia Key. You're guaranteed to get this Key Item at the end of Chapter 2, as picking it up inside the Village Chief's Manor is necessary to complete the chapter.

Unlock the Door with Insignia in Chapter 4

After getting the Insignia Key, progress through the game normally until you reach Chapter 4 and gain access to the boat. Once you can freely drive the boat around the Lake, head to the Lakeside Settlement and unlock the Door with Insignia.

Once you're through the door, follow the path to the right and climb up the ladder to reach the Forest Altar area.

In the small cave leading up to the Forest Altar, you can find the Catch Me A Big Fish Request. Try not to miss picking this Request up, as it only requires you to obtain and sell a Lunker Bass from the nearby lake and rewards you with 4 Spinels on completion.

On the western side of the Forest Altar, you can find a Small Key inside a cart. You can use this Small Key to open one of the locked drawers scattered throughout the game.

Open the Lakeside Settlement Drawer for a Gold Bar

The closest locked drawer is inside the house where you first met Luis Serra in the Lakeside Settlement. Opening this locked drawer will reward you with a Gold Bar that sells for 10,000 Pesetas.

Clockwork Castellan

You can also find Chapter 4's Clockwork Castellan inside the Forest Altar. Look through the fences past the body on the central altar and shoot it to progress the Revolution Wind-Up Trophy and Challenge.
