El Gigante, or "The Giant" is another elite enemy that is first encountered on the way back to the church. This enemy has high durability, but can be taken down easily once the plaga on its back is exposed.

• Shoot its head until it's staggered
• Knife or shoot the plaga

Chainsaw Sisters

Chainsaw Sisters are villagers that uses red chainsaws in the village. They will appear at the same time, so use items and weapons that can hit them both during the first seconds of the battle to quickly kill them.

Mendez

Armored El Gigante is the giant that's wearing full armor except for its head. It will be hard to kill it without exposing its weakpoint — the Plaga on its back that's covered with metal plates.

• Hide behind covers to avoid thrown objects (1st Fight)
• Shoot the Explosive behind its back (2nd Fight)
• Drop it on the Lava (2nd Fight)

Ramon Salazar's loyal servant, Verdugo serves as an executioner like its name implies. Its bug-like features include an exoskeleton that can block bullets, but it's weak against severe cold brought by nitrogen.

• Use the Nitrogen Pipes to make it vulnerable to attacks
• Watch out and dodge the attacks
• Utilize Melee Prompts

Dos Gigantes

Dos Gigantes are elite, giant enemies you will encounter on the mines. The Armored El Gigante is the one you encountered at the early stages in the castle, but the regular El Gigante is a new variant and not the one you faced with the Dog.

How to Beat Dos Gigantes

• Kill the regular El Gigante first
• Shoot the Explosives placed by Luis
• Drop the Armored El Gigante into the Lava Pit

Krauser

Previously Leon's mentor, Krauser turned to the Los Illuminados for power, one he sought after the events of Racoon City. Krauser is an extremely skilled soldier with mastery in close combat, covert, demolitions, and assault tactics. Leon's only way of fighting him is soldier against soldier.

• Watch the buttons appear and press them
• Parry his attacks to avoid getting hit
• Switch Between Melee and Guns
• Shoot Tripwires When He's Near
• Destroy the Automatic Gun Cameras

Salazar

The despicable lord of the castle and the disgrace of the Salazar family, Ramon Salazar brought the power of Las Plagas in his family home and onto his servants, executing all who refuse. Salazar's mutated body can travel through anywhere but tight spaces, and is fragile when Salazar's body is hit.

• Focus on shooting its eye and body
• Use SMGs or Magnum as your weapons

Krauser (Transformed)

Krauser, having failed to kill Leon as a soldier, now relies on the power of the Las Plagas to finish the job. In his mutated form, Krauser bolder and tougher but is far slower which makes his attacks easy to dodge.

• Stock Up on Items
• Use Shotgun or Fully Automatic Weapons
• Avoid the Middle Area When He's Leaping

Saddler

The herald of Las Plagas, Saddler aims to infect the entire world with Plaga and sieze control. His mutated body and control over other creatures with Plaga make him hard to bring down, but his weak spots are easy to shoot and his main body is extremely weak to high explosives.

How to Defeat Saddler

• Focus on shooting its eyes
• Use Explosive Barrels to deal damage
• Hit the Golden Orb During the Final Phase
• Use the Rocket Launcher to End the Fight

All Boss Skips

Mendez Boss Fight Skip

Update 4/23: This scope glitch has been fixed as of the Ver. 1.05 update and will no longer work.

You can entirely skip the boss fight against Mendez during the last stretch of Chapter 6.

You can do this by glitching through the wall using the autosave and Sniper with a Scope trick. Go up the stairs and come back down once Ashley starts speaking. Head to the first 5 steps of the stairs and aim your scope to the railings while going to the left. Stop moving once you're near the first step and then load your autosave.

After loading, you will be glitched into the wall and you can start walking through it. Follow the wall on the Merchant's side until you reach the solid wall, then go left and you'll be out of range for the boss fight. Ignore the transformed Mendez on the way and go straight to the castle to trigger the cutscene and end the chapter!

No Achievement or Trophy This Way

	Defeat Bitores Méndez.

Note that you won't be able to get Grilled Big Cheese trophy if you do this on your very first playthrough of the game.

U-3 Removed From the Island Chapter

U-3 and its boss fight was not included in the remake's Main Story Chapters. Even though he doesn't made an appearance, he was still mentioned on a file named Chronicles of Pursuit 2, written by Isidro Uriarte Talavera .
