Remove the Biosensor to Destroy Explosive Barrels
It can be difficult to aim at the explosive barrels when you are using the Biosensor in this stage. Make sure that you remove it at the start of your run since it is better to use the SR M1903 rifle for shooting from afar.
You Can Unequip the Biosensor Scope
By default, Luis' SR M1903 rifle is equipped with the Biosensor Scope. You can unequip this if you are having a hard time aiming using the rifle.
Use the Cannon to Kill Garradors
Dealing with the Garradors using Luis' weapons can be difficult since you have to shoot their backs to deal damage. You should save the cannon shots to instantly kill them as soon as they spawn. You only have three cannon shots throughout your run, try to avoid missing your shots.
Rifle Against Cultist Leader
The Cultist Leader can easily be killed using your SR M1903. Since they will just constantly run away if you get closer, you can simply snipe them from afar. You only need to land three shots to kill them with this powerful rifle.
Your Handgun Can Penetrate Shields
Some of the Zealots that you will encounter are carrying a shield to protect themselves. But since Luis' is using a Red9, you can easily penetrate the wooden shield to eliminate them with ease.
Use Mayhem Mode to Flinch Enemies

Luis' Mayhem Ability allows him to plant dynamite in his current position. You can use this multiple times as long as the Mayhem bar is not depleted. This is extremely powerful if you use it against a crowd of enemies or if you are overwhelmed by elite enemies.
Nearby enemies will also flinch if you trigger your Mayhem ability, use this to avoid or dodge incoming attacks if you are in a pinch.
Utilize Your Melee Attack Animation
You will be invincible for a couple of seconds during your melee attack's animation. Since Luis has a slightly longer animation than other characters, you will be safe if you keep spamming this as long as you are landing headshots with your Red9.
