Tune Up Weapons at the Merchant

While you can't find him in the Chainsaw Demo, the Merchant in the full release of the Resident Evil 4 Remake will allow players to upgrade their weapons via the Tune Up function. In the Tune Up menu, players can use Pesetas to upgrade a weapon's specific stats.

Knives Can Be Upgraded in the Remake

In contrast to the original Resident Evil 4 (2005), you can now upgrade Leon's knife with Power and Durability enhancements. In addition, the remake also features other types of knives, which will likely have their own unique stats and upgrades.
