Ganados (Villager) usually dies after landing 2 to 3 headshots. You can also use your melee attack if they are staggered upon shooting their head. A small icon prompts above their head if it is possible to use your melee attack. This will allow you to deal high damage without using ammo.

Knife Them If Possible

If they are down, you can also use your knife to deal damage and save more ammo.

You can also sneak up behind them to perform an instant stealth kill using your knife once you get close enough.

Use Your Knife Before the Parasite Appears

Some Ganados (Villagers) may revive themselves after being killed. They will start twitching and the parasite will pop out of their neck. Be sure to use your knife to kill them before they can stand up again.

Shoot the Molotov or Dynamite on their Hand

There will be Ganados that use molotov or dynamites as their weapon. Shoot them before they can attack to make them experience the power of their own weapons. They will always explode when shot, damaging the holder and nearby enemies.

You can also shoot the molotov or dynamite while mid-air!
