Where is the U-3?

Missing Boss Fight in the Main Story of RE4 Remake

Unfortunately, U-3 does not appear in the remake's main story, and players won't be able to fight it. In the original, the U-3 was a Boss-type enemy, which Leon encountered in the Island.

RE4 Remake - Chronicles of Pursuit 2

Although U-3 won't appear in the story, it was still mentioned in the Chronicles of Pursuit 2 file you can find in the Castle Throne Room.

The file is a journal written by Isidro Uriarte Talavera, a servant of Ramon Salazar. In it, they write about their process creating the U-3 ("U-III") by fusing the DNA of an insect with that of his human housekeeper.

The current status of the U-3 is unknown by the game's ending.

The Mercenaries Mode Resident Evil 4 Remake

There's stlll a chance that U-3 will appear as an enemy in the Mercenaries Mode of the game, considering the difficulty of this game mode. Mercenaries Mode will release on April 7, 2023 as a free DLC for all the players who buy any of the Game Editions.
