Want to make a deep run in this version of the Duelist Cup, and possibly qualify early for the 2024 World Championship? Check out our list of Decks we think are the best Decks in the current meta to use for the October 2023 Duelist Cup!
List of Contents
The Sprights archetype gets to support another archetype that has powerful Level 2 monsters that can be used: Gishki. Thier ability to chain Special Summons upon having any Level 2 monster is combined with Gishki's unique strengths as a Ritual-centric Deck.
When properly set up, it can be very hard to break through their defenses, especially with multiple negates on board with cards like Spright Carrot, Spright Red, and the newly-added Evigishki Neremanas.

With the addition of crucial cards like Kashtira Big Bang, Kashtiratheosis, and the new boss monster in Kashtira Arise-Heart, this Deck has now reached its full power.
Though it might have lost Number 89: Diablosis the Mind Hacker with the card being banned as of October 10, this is still a very formidable Deck, and one we expect players to encounter the most during their climb in the Duelist Cup.

Mikanko has risen in popularity due to its shared effect of reflecting battle damage when attacking with its monsters, while equipped with its signature Equip Spells. Alongside it makes plenty of use of Kaiju monsters and similar monsters like Lava Golem, it can get rid of pesky boss monsters in an instant.

Purrely Decks have very few monsters in their Main Deck, but the power of their Xyz Monsters in this Deck only get stronger the more it absorbs the Quick-Play Spells it utilizes. It gets especially dangerous if the Xyz Monsters manages to get five or more materials attached to it.
This Deck has no problem going first or second, depending on the cards that are teched into a Deck. All it wants to do is to make sure it gets its Xyz Monsters to 5 or more materials attached.

The best Trap-based Deck currently in the meta, Labrynth is near unstoppable once it manages to set up its recursion combo and constantly set key Trap Cards on the field.
Cards like Dimensional Barrier, Dogmatika Punishment can be constantly set up with the help of Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle, meaning it almost never runs out of punishes for the opponent.

Floowandereeze players can rest easy knowing that even with numerous hits onto the banlist (including Floowandereeze & Empen being Limited), their Decks still has powerful options to play their usual string of Normal Summons.
Even more concerning for players going up against Floowandereeze is now they have to deal with Floowandereeze & Snowl as a boss monster, which by itself provides three additional Normal Summons upon being summoned itself!

Rescue-ACE has potential to make an immediate splash in the Duelist Cup, especially given that that it was just recently added to Master Duel with the launch of the Flame of Fury Selection Pack.
On a full combo, a player can get to summon Rescue-ACE Turbulence and use its effect to immediately Set 4 cards through just one effect. Its Traps and Quick-Play Spells provide their control, and they don't even need their Extra Deck most of the time to control the pace of the Duel.

Bystial Branded Decks may have lost some consistency with Branded Fusion being recently hit to Limited Status, but it still can work around it with the help of The Bystial Lubellion and the rest of the Bystial Engine.
The Deck may have tough competition ahead against some of the stronger Decks in the current meta, but give this Deck an inch and they will have a strong set-up.
Bystial Branded Deck List & Card Guide
From all the Decks that have been hit with the banlist over the past few months, Swordsoul Tenyi has always maintain the most stability among all the current meta Decks. A usual combo from this Deck can always end with Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying and Baronne de Fleur.
It has also gotten more boss monsters to consider with Swordsoul Sinister Sovereign - Qixing Longyuan and Psychic End Punisher as boss monsters, and the Deck is often armed with multiple negates and interrupts to prevent the opponent from playing their game.
Swordsoul Tenyi Deck List & Card Guide
Despite numerous hits on the the Banlist over the past few months, Runick Decks are very comfortable with their current position in the meta thanks to the Naturia Engine given them access to interrupts and Synchro Summons during the opponent's turn.
With debilitating Synchro Monsters like Naturia Beast, Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying and Baronne de Fleur providing massive control alongside your "Runick " Quick-Play Spells, their complete set-up can be nigh-unbreakable.
