Where to Get Rock Climb

In Route 217

You can find Rock Climb (TM100) in Route 217, behind the house on the western side of the road on the way to Snowpoint City. It is recommended to use the house as a landmark when looking for the hidden move.

This TM can be purchased at the Exchange Service Corner in the Battle Park during the post game for 32 Battle Points.

How to Use Rock Climb

Press the A Button Towards the Rugged Rock Surface

You can use Rock Climb by pressing the A button towards a rugged rock surface. Once you have activated the hidden move, press the A button again to climb up the rocks.

Defeat Candice to Use Rock Climb as a Hidden Move

You cannot use Rock Climb as a Hidden Move unless you have defeated Candice, the gym leader at Snowpoint City. Her team consists of different Ice-type Pokemon so make sure to have your team ready.

Use Poketch and Switch to the Hidden Moves Screen

You can also use Rock Climb as a hidden move from the Poketch app. If the Poketch app does not appear in the upper right corner of the screen, press the R button twice. If a small screen is displayed, press the R button once to enlarge it.

Once the Poketch app is displayed, press the red button to switch to the Hidden Moves screen and select Rock Climb from the menu.

It is recommended to simply press the A button towards the rugged rock surface as it is faster to do so.
