Magic Downpour is a sorcery spell that allows one to summon a mass of magic that fires projectiles over a wide area. It lasts for 3 seconds and can be cast while moving.
Charging the spell extends its duration to 5 seconds but requires more time to cast and can leave you vulnerable to attacks. Consider using spirit ashes to distract your enemies and avoid getting interrupted while casting it.

Defeat Preceptor Miriam for the first time in the Carian Study Hall in the Liurnia of the Lakes region. Defeating her will reward the player with the Magic Downpour spell.
Preceptor Miriam is an invader that guards the study hall. You can encounter her again after using the Carian Inverted Statue to invert the Carian Study Hall.
Magic Downpour is best used against any approaching melee attackers in PvP, as they'll have to approach you while dodging the projectiles. The spell also leaves you a lot of time to cast other spells.
