Night Comet Effects

Night Comet is a sorcery spell that allows the caster to fire a semi-invisible magic comet at their foes. This spell can be cast repeatedly after the initial cast as long as they have enough FP and stamina.

Charging the spell increases its range and damage at the cost of extending its cast time. To avoid getting interrupted while casting the spell, consider using spirit ashes to distract your foes for you.

Night Comet can be obtained inside a chest behind a magic barrier at Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid. This barrier can only be removed by lighting a torch at the top of a tower near where the chest is located.

How to Use Night Comet

Used Against Dodging Enemies

If you're having problems dealing with enemies who like to dodge every spell you throw at them, you can use night sorceries to counteract that, as this spell type does not trigger enemy dodges. This works on every enemy and is very effective when fighting those that actively avoid your spells, especially against invaders and fast-moving bosses.

A prime example of where you should use this spell is when fighting against Malenia, Blade of Miquella, as she's known to evade a lot of spells, making you waste your FP against her.

Best Used with Staff of Loss

Although night sorceries can help you immensely with their invisible projectiles, you still deal less damage output compared with other spells.

To help boost up your damage, use Staff of Loss when using night sorceries as this staff boost invisibility sorceries.
