Adula's Moonblade is a sorcery spell that allows the caster to conjure a cold magic greatsword that delivers a sweeping slash followed by a blade-like projectile of frost that can inflict frostbite.
This spell can be cast quickly and repeatedly right after the initial cast and can go on until you run out of FP.
Adula's Moonblade can be obtained by defeating Glintstone Dragon Adula at the Moonlight Altar. This area can only be accessed by doing Ranni's questline.
Adula's Moonblade is recommended to use against enemies within the range of the sweeping slash of the blade to maximize its damage.
This will allow you to hit the enemies twice using both the sweeping slash and the projectile that comes afterward, which will result in double the damage and will be able to build up the frostbite status effect twice as much.
