Fia's Mist Effects

Fia's Mist is a spell where the caster spews out a mist that inflicts death blight, a status effect that will instantly kill anyone if the meter is filled, to those caught within it. It is a spell only effective when fighting against other players or against invaders, as enemies will not be affected by the Mist.

Charging the spell will allow you to increase the area affected by the Mist at the cost of more time to cast. Consider using Spirit Ashes to avoid getting interrupted while casting the spell.

Defeat All of Fia's Champions

Defeat all of Fia's champions at the Prince of Death's Throne to obtain Fia's Mist as an item reward. The Prince of Death's Throne is the boss area, north of the Deeproot Depths region. You also need to progess Fia's questline for this to happen.

How to Use Fia's Mist

Best Used in PvP

While you can use Fia's Mist against enemy NPC invaders, the death buildup the Mist provides is slow when they're affected by it, and you're better off using other spells.

It's much better to use it in PvP as building up the death status effect can proc a bit faster against other players. You can also use this spell to create some distance between you and your opponents, as they'll try avoiding the Mist.
