Allows the caster to conjure a magical greatsword to perform a wide-sweeping slash. This sorcery can be cast repeatedly in quick succession after the first cast and without the need to conjure the sword again.

Readily available in Miriel's sorcery shop at the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes.
The area of effect of this spell almost surrounds the caster and reaches a decent range, making it a ideal to use when mobbed by enemies during PvE.
As Carian Greatsword does not provide an increase in Poise, getting hit by your enemy while casting the spell may cause you to cancel your attack, wasting your FP in the process. Be sure to space yourself properly against your enemies to avoid getting attacked.
You can also use your spirit ashes to distract the enemies, allowing you to use the Carian Greatsword without worry.
If you want to increase Carian Greatsword's damage output, then you should have the Carian Glintstone Staff equipped as the staff enhances Carian sword sorceries. You can find the staff inside the Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes.
