Glintblade Phalanx is a sorcery spell that allows one to create a defensive arch of magic glintblades overhead, which automatically attack nearby foes. This spell can be used while moving.
The summoned glintblades will not fade after being summoned, it will only disappear after it was able to find and attack an enemy.
To be able to buy this spell from Sorceress Sellen you need to first find the Royal House Scroll and give it to her. Giving this to her will start her questline and you will become her apprentice.
Sellen's Questline and Location
The Glintblade Phalanx automatically attacks foes the moment it spots them. Some invisible enemies can be tracked by these Glintblades the moment they drop invisibility, even if they are behind the player or out of the player's view.
This ability to track makes it also great for general PvP use even when the enemy is not invisible. But if you are dealing with Black Knife Assasins it's still best to use the Sentry Torch to reveal them.
