Create a small floating star that illuminates the area. This spell offers a hand-free light source that lasts for a minute. This spell provides better illumination than a lantern and can also be used while in motion.
You can cast this spell in safe zones such as the Roundtable Hold.
You can buy this spell from Thops in the Church of Irith near the Lake Facing Cliffs site of grace in the Limgrave region.
Starlight is mainly used to illuminate your surrounding area. The spell is brighter than the Lantern item, making it ideal to use when trying to avoid enemy ambush when exploring caverns or dungeons.
While Starlight doesn't last forever and needs to be cast, if does allow you to switch to a weapon or shield of choice instead of a torch. In caves where ambushes are common, having an open hand for a shield will always come in handy.
This spell lasts for 60 seconds and provides better illumination than the lantern. However, it can be a hastle when casting this over and over during dungeon explorations.
