Loretta's Greatbow Lore

Lore Description
"Sorcery used by Royal Knight Loretta.

Creates a magic greatbow and fires a great arrow. Charging enhances potency. Hold to keep the great arrow nocked.

It is said that the bow was Loretta's favored weapon."

Loretta's Greatbow Effects

Allows one to fire a single great arrow from a magic greatbow against a target. It is effective even when fired from long distances. You can hold the spell down to charge it and increase its damage but at the cost of longer cast time.

Keep in mind that you are rendered immobile while casting it, but you can use this spell when mounted on Torrent to get the needed mobility. If you are in an area where Torrent isn't available, it's recommended to use spirit ashes instead.

Loretta's Greatbow can be obtained by defeating Royal Knight Loretta at Caria Manor, North of Liurnia of the Lakes. You can get to her by traveling to the Manor Upper-Level Site of Grace and exiting out of the building. Follow the path and take the flight of stairs up to reach Loretta.

How to Use Loretta's Greatbow

Best Used for Long-Ranged Attacks

It's recommended to use Loretta's Greatbow at a distance or when your enemies are distracted by your spirit ashes, as the spell takes a while to activate, especially when you are trying to charge it.

The most effective way to use the spell is whenever you're fighting field bosses, as they typically don't react to you at the start as long as you're not near to them.

Can Be Used While Riding Torrent

Since Loretta's Greatbow requires the caster to stay still due to its casting time, it can be risky to use it at times without the help of spirit ashes to distract the enemies for you.

However, it's possible to remove that risk with the help of Torrent, as you can charge the spell while riding it, allowing you to move around and making you less vulnerable to attacks.

I didn't get it after beating her.. also tried again as a coop and didn't get =/ Found out that's a way to get Rune Arcs at least I guess
