Rancorcall Lore

Rancorcall Effects

Summon six vengeful spirits that would chase your target. You can cast this spell while in motion and would be more effective if charged from a distance. Using it while near your target is not advised.

It will take at least 2.3 seconds for a fully charged Rancorcall spell to be released while it only takes 1.5 seconds for a low charged Rancorcall to be summoned. You can further increase your casting speed by equipping Rykard's Rancor talisman.

How to Get Rancorcall

The area where the scarab is can only be accessed by unlocking a door next to the Liftside Chamber site of grace of Stormveil Castle. Go to the very bottom of the area and hunt the scarab guarded by rats to be able to obtain the Rancorcall spell.

How to Use Rancorcall

Charging Affects Damage

A low-charged Rancorcall will produce smaller spirits while a fully charged one will produce slightly larger balls of spirits.

Charging this spell affects its damage output. A fully assessed Rancorcall can provide an 18% increase in damage output versus a low-charged Rancorcall spell.

Slow Moving

This spell can easily be spammed by the caster but the summoned spirits move slow that there will be times in PvE that the enemy will be able to dodge the spell.

The slow tracking nature of this spell is what makes it not recommended during PvP.

Do Not Use With the Prince of Death’s Staff

This spell is a type of death sorcery which is why using the Prince of Death's Staff will improve its damage output slightly. However, this effect is really low that it would still be wise to use a staff with an S rank scaling on Intelligence such as the Lusat Glintstone Staff.
