Lore Description |
---|
"An old sorcery of the Carian royal family. Creates a sigil overhead, from which an enemy-seeking glintblade appears after a brief delay. This sorcery can be used while in motion. Charging increases the delay. Said to be the prototype of the sword-phalanx sorceries wielded by royal enchanted knights." |
Creates a sigil that shoots out a Glintstone blade to a target after charging. This spell is also quick to cast which makes it easy for the caster to use it rapidly while in motion. However, make sure to toggle the target-lock button to secure a target otherwise, the spell will just fly out in random.
Magic Glintblade can be purchased from the following merchants:
Merchant | Price |
---|---|
Miriel, Pastor of Vows | 3000 Runes |
Readily available in Miriel's sorcery shop at the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes.
Obtained by choosing Prisoner as your starting class at the beginning of the game.
The Magic Glintblades will be released 4 seconds after casting. This spell is quick to cast making it easy for the player to spam a bunch of Glintblades that are targeting an enemy.
Holding the cast will also increase its damage, so if you have a window to charge the cast make sure to take advantage!
Since you can cast this spell quickly you can set a lot of Magic Glintblades to distract the enemies during PvP. Your foe will either be too busy dodging the blades or too focused on you that it won't be able to defend itself from the blades. The moment they become distracted is your chance to strike!
Certain enemies will dodge the moment you cast a spell or throw a consumable at them. This includes bosses like Malenia and NPC Invaders.
However, Magic Glintblade's delayed cast actually tricks these enemies into dodging early. They will dodge at the initial cast of the spell and not when the blade flies out, so they will get hit by the projectile.
This is a good way to poke them down, especially if multiple casts are going off.
