Where to Find Nepheli Loux

You can find Nepheli Loux in a small room close to Godrick the Grafted's boss arena in Stormveil Castle.

From the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace, go up the stairs and run past the flame-spewing birds. You can find the room on the right immediately after passing the birds and just before the small golden tree.

South of the Secluded Cell

You can also get to Nepheli's starting location by heading south from the Secluded Cell Site of Grace and past the Giant and two Exile Soldiers.

This is a safer location to get to Nepheli as you can kill the Giant and soldiers form a safe distance and safely get to the room without them following you, unlike the flame-spewing birds that can actually get inside the room.

After Patch 1.03, Nepheli Loux's questline was updated to finally have a conclusion. Follow the steps below to get the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone reward for completing her questline.

Find Nepheli in Stormveil Castle

To start Nepheli Loux's questline, you will have to find her speaking over the body of a slain knight in Stormveil Castle. Talk to her and exhaust her dialogue until she offers to help you defeat Godrick the Grafted.

Note: If players choose to ignore her, there will be no gold summon sign outside Godrick's boss area, making the fight more difficult if doing it solo.

Gold Summon for Godrick the Grafted

In order to progress Nepehli's interactions, players will need to defeat Godrick the Grafted in Stormveil Castle. If you spoke to Nepheli before arriving at Godrick's fog gate, her gold summon sign will appear just before you enter gate. Summon her if you need additional help.

Note: Summoning Nepheli is not required, and she will still show up at the Roundtable Hold and speak as if you fought together.

How to Beat Godrick the Grafted

Talk to Nepheli at the Roundtable Hold

Standing outside of Gideon Ofnir's room.

After Godrick is slain, Nepehli Loux next appears at the Roundtable Hold. You can find her standing opposite Ensha.

Speaking to her will reward you with the Arsenal Charm. Exhaust her dialogue to find out that Gideon Ofnir is her father.

Speak to Gideon About His Daughter

This step is optional. For additional dialogue and insight regarding Nepheli Loux, players can speak to Gideon after she mentions that the All-Knowing One is her father.

Find Nepheli at the Village of the Albinaurics

Nepheli is next found under the bridge on the path leadiing to the Village of Albinaurics. Take note that the village itself isn't on the large plateau on the map but right under it, with the village's location essentially carved on the mountainside.

Speak to Nepheli to know more about her past and what she intends to do to those responsible for the massacre of the village.

Defeat the Omenkiller

At the end of the Village of the Albinaurics is a boss named the Omenkiller. Defeat him in order to progress Nepheli's questline.

Note: If you spoke to Nepheli prior to exploring the village, her golden summon sign will appear right before the boss area and will help against the Omenkiller boss fight.

Talk to Nepheli and Gideon at the Roundtable Hold

At the bottom of the steps next to Smithing Master Hewg.

After your interaction with Nepheli at the Village of Albinaurics, she will move to the Roundtable Hold. You can find her at the bottom of the staircase past Smithing Master Hewg.

Speak to her first before speaking to Gideon Ofnir. After Gideon tells you why he disowned her, return to Nepheli and exhaust her dialogue.

Ask Gideon to Dispose of Seluvis' Potion

Give Seluvis' Potion to Nepheli

If you have encountered Seluvis in Liurnia, he will most likely have given you a potion to give to Nepheli. If you want Nepheli to become a puppet, give her the potion after she is disowned. This will unlock her for purchase from Seluvis later on.

Warning: Giving Nepheli the potion will prematurely end her questline. For players who still want to play out her story and receive the reward, do not give her the potion.

Ask Gideon to Dispose of Seluvis' Potion

Alternatively, players can give the potion to Gideon Ofnir who will offer to dispose of it. Do note that choosing this or the previous option will still allow players to progress Seluvis' questline.

Retrieve the Stormhawk King

To help alleviate Nepheli's distress, players can give her the ashes of The Stormhawk King. You'll find this key item by returning to the Chapel of Anticipation.

To return to Elden Ring's starting area, players will need to head over to The Four Belfries in Liurnia. Once there, unlock the waygate that has the message Precipice of Anticipation in front of it to reach the chapel.

If you did not defeat the Grafted Scion tutorial boss when you first started Elden Ring, returning to the Chapel of Anticipation will have you face it again. Defeat this starter boss to unlock the way to the main chapel.

Still at the bottom of the stairs next to Smithing Master Hewg.

With the Stormhawk King ashes in your possession, return to the Roundtable Hold and give the ashes to Nepheli. Exhaust her dialogue until she tells you that the ashes remind her of her first hawk.

With Nepheli's lengthy questline mostly done, you can now also opt to progress Kenneth Haight's questline. If done correctly, he will show up with Nepheli when her quest concludes, later on.

Defeat Morgott the Omen King

To trigger the end of Nepheli's questline, players will have to defeat Morgott the Omen King in Leyndell, Royal Capital.

Once you defeat him at the foot of the Erdtree and speak to Melina at the site of grace, return to Stormveil Castle to start wrapping up Nepheli's quest.

Defeat Two Shardbearers

Leyndell will remain inaccessible until players defeat at least 2 shardbearers. With Godrick defeated during the questline, you have a choice between defeating Rennala, Radahn, or Rykard for the second Great Rune needed.

With two Great Runes in your possession, head over to the eastern entrance of Leyndell and defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel to unlock the path into the Royal Capital.

Explore the Royal Capital

Leyndell, Royal Capital is another expansive legacy dungeon set in the Altus Plateau. In order to reach Morgott, players will need to explore the dungeon until they discover the West Capital Rampart site of grace.

Defeat Godfrey the First Elden Lord

The final boss standing between you and Morgott is Godfrey, First Elden Lord. From the West Capital Rampart site of grace, head up the large branch and into the central area of Leyndell.

Defeat Godfrey at the Erdtree Santcuary in order to unlock the path to the Elden Throne at the base of the Erdtree.

Meet Nepheli Inside Godrick's Throne Room

With Morgott the Omen King dead, Nepheli will relocate herself to Godrick's Throne Room in Stormveil Castle. Depending on your completion of each NPC's questline, Kenneth Haight and Gatekeeper Gostoc should join her in the area. Speak to Nepheli to receive the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone reward.

Note: If players cannot get her to move, try resting at the Godrick the Grafted site of grace and select the option to pass the time. One indication that she has moved is if Gostoc disappears from where he was last stepping on Godrick's corpse.

Unlocks Nepheli Gold Summon for Hoarah Loux

If players complete Nepheli's questline before fighting Hoarah Loux, she will be available as a gold summon for the boss fight. Nepheli will be a lot tankier for this boss fight, making her a perfect distraction for characters with ranged builds.

Missable Questline in Late Game

Unfortunately, players that have beaten Maliketh before progressing this questline will not be able to see its conclusion.

Instead, Nepeheli will disappear, dropping her twin Stormhawk Axes where she once knelt at the Roundtable Hold.

Nepheli Loux Lore

The Lone Warrior

• Nepheli Loux is the adopted daughter of Sir Gideon Ofnir, head of the Roundtable. She is an axe-wielding warrior who has a distaste for all things unnatural such as the grafted in Godrick's castle.
• Nepheli is also Tarnished. However, she is like Rogier in that she has also lost her Guidance of Grace. Without a guide, she finds purpose in slaying abominations and righting wrongs.
• In the Village of Albinaurics, Nepheli hints that she had borne witness to a village massacre in her youth. She claims that she was too young to do anything about it before and so she helps you when the Tarnished challenges Omenkiller.
• After she helps out the Tarnished at the Village of Albinaurics, Nepheli will find out that it was her father's own men that killed the villagers. After confronting Gideon about it at the Roundtable Hold, he will disown her.
• Eventually, Nepheli will leave the influence of Gideon behind, taking refuge and newfound purpose in Stormveil Castle. If the Tarnished speaks to her here, she will tell you that her new purpose is to restore the land and remove the foulness that pollutes it.

Trivia

• Nepheli's last name is similar to Hoarah Loux, Warrior. While no immediate connections have been made between the two, Nepheli also refers to herself as a Warrior in most of her dialogue. In fact, her gold summon is called Nepheli Loux, Warrior.
• Nepheli's Stormhawk Axe can be found at the Fortified Manor in the Capital City of Leyndell. It will be in the courtyard patrolled by two Iron Maidens.
