Gatekeeper Gostoc Quest Walkthrough

Quest Objectives
By Stormveil Gate Soon Becomes a Merchant Freedom from Godrick Becomes Nepheli's Attendant

By Stormveil Gate

Gatekeeper Gostoc can first be found in a room right next to Stormveil Castle's main gate. He will ask if you wish to use the main entrance or go around the side of the castle. Choosing to go through the main entrance will make Gatekeeper Gostoc raise the gate for you.

Soon Becomes a Merchant

Gatekeeper Gostoc will start selling items once you've explored more of Stormveil Castle. Head back to the room beside the main gate to speak to him and buy his wares. He will also still have the option to open the main gate for you should you want to enter through there.

Freedom from Godrick

After the player kills Godrick the Grafted, Gatekeeper Gostoc will abandon his position by the Main Gate and proceed to stamp on Godric's remains.

As of Patch 1.04, Gatekeeper Gostoc was changed to still be available as a merchant even while stepping on Godrick's corpse. Simply speak to him to access his shop.

Becomes Nepheli's Attendant

After players give Nepheli the Stormhawk King's ashes, Gostoc will move to Godrick's throne room in Stormveil Castle. Speak to him to gain access to his merchant inventory once more. This time, he will also sell an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone to you.

Note: If players cannot get Gostoc to move during late game, try resting at the Godrick the Grafted site of grace and select the option to pass the time.

Gatekeeper Gostoc can be found in a room immediately to the left of Stormveil Gate at Stormveil Castle.
