When players speak to Shabriri for the first time, he will try to convince you to embrace the Three Fingers deep beneath Leyndell. If you follow his advice, you will become the host of the Frenzied Flame.

Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending

Elden Ring - Frenzied Flame Ending

If you listen to Shabriri and embrace the Three Fingers before arriving at the Forge of the Giants, Melina will live after you set the Erdtree aflame. However, you will now be locked to the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending.

How to Get the Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending

Kill Shabriri to Get Yura's Armor

How to Get Yura Armor

You can also opt to kill Shabriri once you meet him at the Zamor Ruins. If defeated, he will drop Yura's armor set that contains the Iron Kasa, Ronin's Armor, Ronin's Gauntlets, and Ronin's Greaves.

Note: This will not lock you out of the Frenzied Flame ending. Shabriri is one of the few NPCs that you can kill without any consequences down the line.

Gold Summon for Hoarah Loux

Map Location

If players embraced the Three Fingers before fighting Hoarah Loux, Shabriri will be available as gold summon for the boss fight. His summon sign can be found just before the Elden Throne fog gate.

Note: This gold summon sign will appear even if you killed Shabriri at the Zamor Ruins. The only requirement is that the player must have embraced the Three Fingers before fighting Hoarah Loux.

Lore and Trivia

Lore

  • While not much is known as to the relation between Shabriri and the Three Fingers, it is said that Shabriri was once a man that had his eyes removed as punishment for the crime of slander. The talisman, Shabriri's Woe, depicts his original visage.
  • Robbed of his vision, it was from Shabriri's empty eye sockets that the flame of frenzy entered the world, taking root and ushering others into madness. It is for this reason that the Howl of Shabriri incantation regards him as the most reviled man in all history.
  • In the present, Shabriri comes to inhabit Blood Finger Hunter Yura's dead body. The old hunter's eyes have also been gouged out, housing the flame of the frenzy that was birthed from his despair.

Trivia

  • When players first encounter Shabriri, he will have his hands to his face for the entirety of the conversation. This is probably because Yura's body no longer its eyes. This is true for most that behold the Frenzied Flame.
  • Roundtable Knight Vyke is a Tarnished that came the closest to becoming Elden Lord. However, before he could set foot in the Erdtree, he was called by an outside force to seek out the Three Fingers and embrace the flame of frenzy. This story is similar to your Tarnished, with Shabriri meeting you just before you enter Elden Ring's endgame sequence.

Shabriri Quotes

"Finally, we meet. The Tarnished, who would be Lord. Oh my, why the long face? I fear that you were previously acquainted with this vessel. Well, that is most unfortunate. For he is dead. As for his flesh, he gave it to me, Shabriri. I hope you can make peace with that."
"Chosen Tarnished, and would-be Lord. Descend into the depths, far below the Erdtree Capital. Seek audience with the Three Fingers, and the flame of frenzy."
"Burn the Erdtree to the ground, and incinerate all that divides and distinguishes. Ahh, may chaos take the world! May chaos take the world!"
"This, I did not expect. But if you do not care for Lordship, I'm afraid you are of no use."
"Shabriri is chaos incarnate. I cannot die. Ahh, may chaos take the world!"
