Edgar can be found at the highest rampart of Castle Morne. In order to get to him, players will have to get past multiple enemies that are extremely agile. The nearest Site of Grace will be the Castle Morne Lift.

Note: None of the other Sites of Grace in Castle Morne will lead to the upper parts of the castle. As such, players will always have to run the gauntlet in order to get to Edgar.

Edgar Questline

Delivering Irina's Letter

Meeting Castellan Edgar will be part of Irina's questline, where players will have to deliver Irina's Letter to her father. You will find Edgar sitting atop Castle Morne's highest rampart.

Despite his daughter's pleas to retreat and fight another day, Edgar will not back down from his duties as commander. Edgar will reward you a Sacrificial Twig for your efforts.

Defeat Leonine Misbegotten

In order to convince Edgar to return to his daughter, players will need to defeat the Leonine Misbegotten boss found on the shore beside Castle Morne. There will be an option there to summon Castellan Edgar to aid you during the fight.

Once the boss is beaten, return to Edgar's location at the ramparts. Speak to him and convince him to leave Castle Morne and reunite with his daughter.

Returning to His Daughter

With the castle somewhat secured, Edgar will move to the location of Irina at the entrance of the Weeping Peninsula. However, it is too late. His daughter is dead.

Edgar will vow to hunt down those responsible for Irina's demise while the Tarnished can only look on in silence.

Find Him at the Revenger's Shack

Players will next find Edgar at the Revenger's Shack in Liurnia. Approach the location and he will invade your world as Edgar the Revenger.

Once defeated, Edgar will drop a Furlcalling Finger Remedy, a Shabriri Grape, the Banished Knight's Halberd +8, and 5 Raw Meat Dumplings.

Lore

• Edgar is the castellan of Castle Morne, personally assigned the position by Godrick himself. Despite the chaos within the castle, Edgar is steadfast in upholding his duty as both commander of the garrison and guardian of Morne's blade.
• According to Irina, the servants of Castle Morne had risen up in rebellion, prompting Edgar to send his daughter away while trying to quell the uprising.
• Despite his adherence to duty, Edgar's reward for services rendered is the death of his only daughter.

Trivia

• Edgar wields a halberd when he fights, as shown by his gold summon during the Lenonine Misbegotten boss battle.
