Where to Find Irina

Irina can be found sitting at the foot of a small valley that serves as the entrance to the Weeping Peninsula. Players can find her just south of the Bridge of Sacrifice in Limgrave.

Irina Questline

Deliver a Letter to Her Father

Upon meeting Irina, the woman will entreat the Tarnished to deliver a letter to her imperiled father, Edgar, in Castle Morne. If you accept, she will give you the key item Irina's Letter which will begin the quest.

Go to Castle Morne and Delive the Letter

In order to progress interactions with Irina, players will need to go to Castle Morne on the southern tip of the Weeping Peninsula. Once there, climb to the highest point of the ramparts to find Edgar and deliver Irina's letter.

Untimely Demise

Unfortunately, when the Tarnished returns to Irina at the entrance of the Weeping Peninsula, she will already have been killed. Interacting with the body only brings up a short message saying that the NPC is now dead.

Later on, when you progress Edgar's quest, you will return to Irina's body where the father will mourn the loss of his child.

Lore and Trivia

Lore

• Irina is the daughter of Castle Morne's Warden, Edgar. During the rebellion of the servants and the appearance of demi-humans at the castle, Irina and a few companions were secreted away by Edgar in order to save their lives.
• During their flight, Irina's companions are all killed. Blind, alone, and afraid, she waits for aid at the entrance of the Weeping Peninsula, calling out to anyone willing to brave Castle Morne and convince her father to abandon his post.
• Irina's final wish was for her father to escape Castle Morne unscathed. Despite her untimely demise and the ensuing grief of Edgar, her final wish was fulfilled in the end.

Trivia

• A battlefield littered with bodies of demi-humans and Godrick's soldiers will greet the player when they enter the Weeping Peninsula. With Edgar being an appointee of Godrick, the dead men littering the field must have been Irina's retinue.
• Irina's garb is that of the Finger Maidens. However, it is not directly stated by her or her father as to whether she was one.
• This NPC bears a striking resemblance to Hyetta, a maiden devoted to the Three Fingers. In fact, completing Irina's quest triggers Hyetta's appearance in Liurnia.
