The moment they see you again, they will start attacking.

How to Reverse Aggro on Friendly NPCs

Speak With Miriel in the Church of Vows

Miriel Pastor of Vows Elden Ring.png

Accidentally trying to jump unto Miriel, Pastor of Vows inside the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes will count as damage and will trigger an animation where he cowers under his shell.

Talking to him after will result in him scolding you about the action and then revealing that you will need Celestial Dew in order to perform Absolution.

Absolution will absolve any sins you're carrying and will de-aggro any hostile NPCs, as well as resurrect any dead merchants.

Obtain Celestial Dew
