Gas Mask is an unlockable Accessory from the Extra Contents Shop challenges in the Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4). Learn how to unlock and where to get Gas Mask, how to equip Gas Mask, and if Gas Mask has perks!

Equipping the Gas Mask accessory allows you to turn on Aim Assist for the Hardcore and Professional difficulty levels, when it would otherwise be automatically disabled. Especially for controller players, Aim Assist is an extremely useful setting that'll allow you to snap and lock onto certain enemy limbs.
Aim Assist would come in handy for ground-level fights and the Minecart sequence in Chapter 11, especially.

You'll have to complete the above in-game challenge in order for the Gas Mask Accessory to be purchasable in your Extra Content Shop. Afterward, you need to spend Challenge Points to buy it.
You can equip this accessory from either the Pause Menu or Main Menu. Go to Extras in either menu then select the character this accessory belongs to in order to make it part of your in-game outfit!
The perk that comes with this Accessory only activates while you have it equipped. If you remove this Accessory, the perk's exclusive stat bonus will deactivate until equipped again.
