You can unlock the Handcannon Magnum by getting an S rank or higher on all 3 stages in Mercenaries Mode. This Handcannon bonus weapon can be used in main story playthroughs.
Since it's not required to play the main story in order to play Mercenaries, you can unlock the Handcannon via this method before even starting a single story playthrough. After unlock, it can be bought in the Extra Content Shop for 1,000 CP.
The Handcannon Bonus Weapon can be unlocked by completing the game on Professional Mode without using any Bonus Weapons.
The catch is, you have to start a New Game on Professional Mode to unlock the Handcannon, so a New Game Plus file won't work for this one. However, you don't have to worry about Rank so take your time and make your way through Professional Mode.
The Professional Difficulty Mode can be unlocked simply by clearing the main story once on any difficulty. It can be selected for any New Game or New Game Plus file once unlocked.

Handcannon, although it's base stat is a bit low compared to Killer7, is still good to have as it is the only Magnum with infinite ammo. Magnum Ammo are very scarce and requires a lot of Gunpowder to make, making it one of the rarest items in the game.
The Handcannon's biggest draw is its Exclusive Upgrade which gives it Infinite Ammo to work with.
Be sure to save up your pesetas and upgrade the Handcannon, or use an Exclusive Upgrade Ticket once you get it to fully take advantage of its potential!
