Kood, Captain of the Fire Knights, can be found guarding the door to Messmer the Impaler's dark chambers at the top of Shadow Keep.
You can reach this area from the Storehouse, Seventh Floor Site of Grace, and then use the platform in the middle only after activating the lever.
Specimen Storehouse Walkthrough
Kood, Captain of the Fire Knights, drops their equipped helm, the Winged Serpent Helm, which is unique to the other Fire Knight helms. This helm enhances Fire Knight Skills.
Upon defeat, Kood, Captain of the Fire Knights, also drops the Flame Spear Ash of War, which can be used on most thrusting weapons.
