Stonedigger Troll

You can reach the Limgrave Tunnels by heading south from Agheel Lake North Site of Grace. If you go straight south, you'll come up to a high cliff, so go around it and drop down into the lake and enter the tunnels from there.

| 2 | In the next room, you can opt to backstab the mining trolls sat excavating the walls in this room to get Smithing Stones, or jump down and run straight across the room to the elevator. |
| 3 |  Jump onto the hidden platform halfway down the elevator shaft to continue on to the boss. If you want to keep gathering Smithing Stones, take the elevator all the way down and clear out the bottom floor, then return to the elevator. |

The trolls in Limgrave Tunnels are digging for Smithing Stones. You'll want to get your hands on these in the early game so you can start upgrading your weapons at places like the smithing table in Church of Elleh.
Smithing Stones can be found by examining the walls where trolls are excavating throughout the dungeon.
Stonedigger Troll is a fearsome monster, but don't be intimidated by its looks. Just like regular trolls, its weakpoints are behind its ankles, so roll under it and start chopping.
It's also worth bringing a medium or heavy shield if you have one, since you'll be able to block the shockwaves from its Club Smash attack.
